The latter part of the 1990s and the first years of this millennium brought great economic prosperity to our country, but halfway through the decade disaster hit. We’re all familiar with the financial crisis that was caused by the housing market, and we’ve all felt it’s effects in one way or another. Stocks dropped, real estate equity dropped, and hundreds of thousands of people found themselves out of work.
Despite the federal government’s best attempts, the decline in job security has led to higher rates of unemployment and a depleted workforce. Businesses all over the country have to tightly manage their business and income knowing that a simple miscalculation could be their financial ruin.
